After graduating in 2022, I worked for a year as a reporter at WRVA. In my time at WRVA I covered several stories that garnered national attention, including the 2023 Altria shooting, the death of Irvo Otieno, and the 2022 UVA Football shooting, the latter of which earned an AP Award for Best Continuing Coverage.

In August of 2023, I began as a City Editor at RICtoday, where I pitched, wrote, and/or edited up to ten articles a week. My time there also gave me a depth of experience running newsletter campaigns. RICtoday sent out 6 newsletters per week, all of which I was responsible for writing or editing.
