I have been pitching and publishing freelance music journalism since high school. In college, I spent three years as the Music Director for WCWM, William & Mary’s student-run radio station, and several semesters as an editor for Vinyl Tap Magazine, WCWM’s music and culture magazine. I was editor in chief for Vinyl Tap’s Spring 2020 issue, which was published online-only due to COVID. I also introduced Vinyl Tap’s “haiku reviews,” still a staple of the publication’s output.
In more recent years I have published album reviews on Post-Trash, Double Negative, and Melted Mag. I am also an active member of Richmond’s local music scene.
